What is the difference between Energy trading and other commodities trading?

From my opinion, every commodities are based on the productions and the demand. Other than that, the agri, non agri, metals, bullions and other commodities are always based on the energy resources because we are using energy resources for transportation of the other commodities. So, If the price of the energy commodities increase, there will be increases in other commodities. Daily reports on energy will be useful for the traders to trade in other commodities too.
